Since 1967, a family tradition.
Jerry and Evie Miller opened the Ingleside Dog n Suds in March 1967. Today their great-grandson Bradley runs it — still serving the "World's Creamiest" root beer in frosty mugs, still hosting cruise nites every Saturday.
About Us
Step back in time at our original 1950s-style drive-in, where carhops serve frosted mugs of homemade Root Beer, Root Beer Floats, Coney Dogs, Texasburgers, and other drive-in favorites right to your car. Guests can also enjoy their meal in our picnic area.
All summer long, our Saturday Night Cruise-In brings the lot to life with classic cars, great food, and live entertainment. It's a Fox Lake tradition where families, car enthusiasts, and longtime guests gather for music, memories, and a true drive-in experience.
Whether you're stopping by for curb service, grabbing takeout, or ordering delivery through DoorDash, we make it easy. Order from one of our 30 parking stations, at our walk-up window, in our picnic area, or from home. Every meal is made fresh and served with the hometown hospitality our guests have come to expect.

Jerry & Evie, 1967It started with a fire — and a leap of faith.
When a fire destroyed their building, Jerry and Evie didn't quit. They built a drive-in. Four generations later, the Miller family is still behind the counter.
